When teeth are crooked or misalign, orthodontics can straighten them. There are two methods of moving teeth. The first is with traditional braces. Braces can be made of either metal or porcelain to provide a natural appearance.
The second method of moving teeth is with aligners (i.e. Invisalign or Clear Correct). Aligners are made of transparent removable trays. The patient is encouraged to wear the trays for approximately 22 hours a day. The patient only removes the trays to eat and brush their teeth.
